  • Fall Book Sale, The Friends of The Santa Cruz Libraries, Friday, November 18th (10am-12pm, flexible shifts) @ The Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, 307 Church Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. About: Proceeds from book sales benefit the Santa Cruz Public Libraries and sustain their work in the community. Volunteers Needed: to help set up the sale, Volunteer Info: 10 volunteers needed to help with set-up the book sale at the civic auditorium. For More Information/To Get Involved: contact Ron D’Alessandro, dalessandror@santacruzpl.org / 831.427.7707

DECEMBER-FLEX PROJECTS

  • Quail Hollow Ranch County Park Restoration–CA Native Plant Society, Sat. December 17th, 10am-1pm, Park entrance on Quail Hollow Road (Meet in Parking Lot on left-hand side of the entrance road)About: Join CA Native Plant Society as they work to eradicate non-native plant species across Santa Cruz County. Volunteers Needed: to assist with removing non-native French broom to protect and restore the beautiful sand hills in Quail Hollow ranch. Tools provided. Please wear comfortable, layered clothing and bring work gloves and H2o.
